The Scottish Information Commissioner is the statutory body responsible for promoting and enforcing Scotland's freedom of information (FOI) laws:
- the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002
- the Environmental Information (Scotland) Regulations 2004, and
- the INSPIRE (Scotland) Regulations 2009
